Details

Objectives :

To touch upon the transformation of raw materials from the perspective of processes, and integrating physical phenomena that are implemented and technologies used.

Contents :

Heat transfers (conduction, convection, radiation), individual operations (drying/concentration, heat treatments), automation
(PID temperature controller, programmable automation, grafcet software program), test platform.

Prerequisites :

Integral calculus, functions of several variables, general and applied thermodynamics in humid conditions

Teaching methods :

Lectures (CM), Seminars (TD), Project Work (TP) using pilot testing center

Assessment :

Written Report (CR Project Work-TP using pilot testing center) coefficient:1
Written exams: Heat Transfers (1.5 hrs coefficient:1) Single automated operations (1 hr coefficient:1)
