Objectives :

To identify the various actors in the value chain and their roles
To understand the organization of the seed value chain and be able to identify its specific characteristics
To identify and analyze the impact of innovations or changes (technical, regulatory, economic, societal, development of sectors, etc. ) on the value chain organization
Possess the basic components needed to analyze market changes

Historical overview of the value chain – Key factors leading to this organization
Selection
Regulations: Certifications – catalog inscriptions - plant variety and seed cultivation protections

Seed technology
Seed varieties (farmer, manufacturer)

MAFIL IL3 is a plus
